The Arbortech-Grinder:
In 1992 I bought my first
Arbortech-Grinder at the NEC-woodturning show in Birmingham. It was a
prototype-showmodel I could take home (thats Holland) at last day of the
show. I used it for many years but never showed pictures because a very famous
English woodturner called it a butchering-tool. It has become quiet
popular now. Meanwhile I made hunderds of forms with it. I have a newer
one now and use it a lot for texturing and sometimes hollowing or
roughshaping very unballanced pieces of wood particularly burrs. Allways use
extreme caution when you use the grinder, use extra face shield and gloves. And
have fun!!

based tool manufacturer. The grinder is used for Carving, Sculpting,
Shaping and Finishing of soft as well as hard wooden products. On my own
woodturnings I use the tool to give my woodturnings a distinct
texture as shown in the examples below. |
